1. Open the Enterprise Manager and expand the server group.
2. Click the server, right-click the server, and click the properties menu.
3. Click the memory tab in the pop-up dialog box.
There are two methods to set the memory:
1. Set min server memory and Max server memory to be in the same range.
For example, we can set it to a minimum of 0 MB and a maximum of 255 MB. This method is useful when multiple applications are running on a server to allocate memory.
2. Set min server memory and Max server memory to the same value.
For example, you can set the maximum and minimum values to 255 MB. This setting method is consistent with the "use fixed memory size" option in the window.
Although the setting of the minimum and maximum memory values is an advanced option, it is recommended that you stop the SQL Server service and run it again after the setting is complete, so that SQL server can better arrange the memory.
