External pressure:
form of expression:
1. Total Server memory↓
2, avilable MByte balance
3, Working set↓
If SQL Server's memory Engross from outside, we are going to satisfy the memory usage of SQL Server or to satisfy the external memory.
If you want SQL Server to be a bit more, you can set its max server memory to control.
Internal pressure:
form of expression:
1, total server memory and Targert server memory has been maintained at a higher level of two values basically equal
2, lazy writes/sec often not zero
3. Page life expectancy significantly reduced
4, page reads/sec often not zero
5, stolen page maintained at a relatively high level
Workaround:
1, the most direct way to add memory, 32-bit machine can open awe;
2, see whether it can be done, a server only run a database;
3. See if the SQL statement you're running is not inherently going to read so much data, and if not, improve it.
Improvement Program:
A, reduce the amount of data read, say: Need a line do not write a return the entire table statement.
B, add index
C. Rebuilding an index or table
