SQL Server query for the number of connection requests that are currently _mssql2005

SQL Server itself provides such a DMV to return this information, which is sys.dm_exec_sessions.
For example, do a query on my machine:

SELECT * from sys.dm_exec_sessions WHERE host_name isn't NULL

We can also group by login name:

Copy Code code as follows:

SELECT login_name, COUNT (session_id) as Session_count
From sys.dm_exec_sessions
GROUP by Login_name;
