The features of SSRS have not been known before, and since the recent understanding, it has been found to be very powerful. For the matrix, at first I didn't know what it was for, and now it's going to be an example to understand the matrix, and the convenience of using it with the grouping group. The main purpose of the demo example is to show the changes in the population of the countries in recent years, mainly including: region, country (country), years (year), population (Population), Operation Date (Operatedate), the following steps:
The first step: Prepare for work:
Create a new report page, Datasouce and dataset, and drag a matrix control to the current blank page, as shown in:
Step Two: Bind columns for matrix:
Move the mouse over to columns, click the icon that appears, select Country in the displayed list as follows:
Similarly, when you bind the year column in rows and bind the population column in data, the effect is as follows:
Step Three: Preliminary preview:
Adjust the column width of the matrix and adjust the position and border, the following is the effect of the preview:
Fourth step: Group BY Region:
The effect of the third step is easily done, in order to show a clearer effect by region, we will add the effect of grouping by region. In the matrix, select the row where year is located, and right-click to add the parent Group as follows:
Select the region column in the pop-up window, and then click OK:
Fourth step: Preview The Matrix grouping effect:
Fifth Step: Matrix Add total:
With the matrix selected, add a row and a column to the last and last columns, and the result is as follows:
Sixth step: Preview the final effect:
Summary: So this is all I have now, SSRS, although powerful, also found some small problems in use, but in a word I hope that SSRS getting better!
