SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) Learning Preliminary

Early know SQL Server comes with the reporting tools SSRS, but has not been used, recently finally need to work in a show of skill, so I specifically in accordance with their own understanding to do the following summary:

1. Install the SOFTWARE structure

SSRS full Name SQL Server Reporting Service, for service side, as a component of SQL Server, we can choose to install Reporting service in SQL Server installation;

For the client, because I'm using VS2015, I need to install SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools) because it already includes the related features of BI (business Intelligence) as follows:

2. My first example of a reportingservice

Visio Studio has removed support for the report model since 2008, so there is no too much explanation for the report model here.

Purpose: Manually Complete your first demo: You can filter the employee's behavior operationlist and display the results through the Employee Name list employeelist. Before starting this example the required software has been completed software installation (SQLServer2014 with Reporting server+visio Studio + SQL Server Data Tools).

The first step: New Project Myfirstreportingproject;

Step Two: Create a new report page and configure the data source operationlist for the employee details:

To add a column to the details:

The third step: New Employee List dataset:employeelist;

Fourth step: Set the dropdown dataset as: EmployeeList;

Fifth step: Format the column with an expression

In fact, after the first four steps, the entire report function has been completed, in order to be beautiful, I adjusted the appearance of the report, before using the expression to set the date format:

The date format looks strange, and the last column of data is not well handled, so I started working with the startdate/enddate/isdeleted using an expression:

Switch to design mode, right-startdate detail, select Expression, and in the pop-up window, startdate the column, as shown below:

Next, the EndDate and isdeleted are processed in turn, and the expression for isdeleted processing is "=IIF (fields! Isdeleted.value=0,false,true) "

Sixth step: Publish

Right-click on the project Myfirstreportingproject, tap deploy, until the following message is displayed, indicating that the report has been successfully posted to the SQL Server Reporting service and we can
