Ubuntu12.04 campus network iNode Client installation steps many schools use iNode client logon accounts to access the Internet. Many students need to use the linux operating system to complete some homework at school. Therefore, being able to access the Internet is a prerequisite for using the system to complete their work. This log (Tutorial) was originally published on the sina Blog and is now a migration job. After installing the Ubuntu operating system, you need to install the iNode client to connect to the Internet due to the need to access the Internet. However, you may encounter many difficulties in actual operations. For example, you can only access the client from the terminal, in addition, the terminal window cannot be closed, and so on. Therefore, I would like to write a tutorial log to communicate with people who are currently wondering about this issue. If you don't talk much about it, let's start with the question: 1. to install the iNode client, you must first download the installation program of the iNode client. However, note that there is no network at the beginning, therefore, the download task needs to be downloaded on another computer that can access the Internet normally and put it in a USB flash drive. Insert the USB flash drive and copy the downloaded iNode client (my client name is iNodeClient_Linux.tar.gz) to the desktop. Then copy the client to the installation directory/usr/iNode, the directory "/usr/iNode/" may not exist. You need to create a folder in advance and run the following command to create a folder: sudo mkdir/usr/iNode2. then copy the folder, copy the client to the folder created above and run the following command: Cp/desktop/iNodeClient_Linux.tar.gz/usr/iNode3. enter the directory where the installation file is located (/usr/iNode ), decompress the Linux iNode Installation File and run the following command: tar-zxvf iNodeClient_Linux.tar.gz4. run the following command to install the iNodeClient Directory: sudo. /install. sh. 5. Run the following command to check whether iNode is successfully installed: ps-e | grep A. Check whether the AuthenMngService is enabled. If it is enabled, iNode is successfully installed. The installation process is basically completed here. At this time, we need to run the iNode program to see if it can run normally. In fact, as long as the above installation steps are normal, there will not be too many problems. The real problem should be caused by the running of iNode. Below I will talk about the problems I encountered and solutions: ① After running, the system prompts "notfound ......", At this time, it indicates that there is a library file that you did not replace, so go to the prompt directory and replace one of them. change the lib file name to the one it cannot find. then copy the lib file back to the file directory of the library. ② The client cannot use right-click open and can only run through the terminal: To solve this problem, run the following command: sudo chmod 777-R/usr/iNode/iNodeClient/conf/usr/iNode/iNodeClient/logsudo chmod 777-R/usr/iNode/iNodeClientnohup/usr/iNode/iNodeClient & so far, the whole tutorial is complete, and the rest of the work is to run iNode and log in according to your campus network account ~ I wish everyone who started learning Ubuntu could do well.
