Supermap IServer is a cloud GIS server product for the company, typically deployed on a Linux server. The following is a summary of the issues encountered during daily deployment and use.
1. The first step in deploying Iserver is to check if the Linux system is missing a third-party dependent library (in order to install the license server in Iserver)
Operation: Into the Iserver directory, in the. /iserver/support directory, execute the./dependencies_check_and_install.sh install automatically installs the missing dependency packages. Note: For Ubuntu systems, the iserver711, 811 version comes with an incomplete dependency, can be upgraded to version 812, or manually install the required dependent libraries (e.g.)
2, enter the AKSUSBD directory, the registration license driver./dinst (Note that this requires the root user to execute the command)
3. The first installation license driver will activate the 3-month trial license by default, and execute SH licensetool.sh-s in the root directory to view the license status.
4, many users in the use of Iserver, in the security considerations of user rights, may need to use ordinary user installation configuration Iserver, here only need to install the license to switch the root user, the rest of the ordinary user under the execution.
5, if Iserver own trial license expires, how to update the license file?
① Use our Licensing tool to update the license, SH licensetool.sh-update ***.lic to update the license file.
② after installing the license driver, access the http://ip:1947 license management interface to update the license on that interface.
After the ③8C series of iserver products, you can directly speak the license file placed in the/opt/supermap/license directory, please note that the directory is granted read and write permissions. The system automatically uses the license file for that directory, without additional configuration
6. After the license configuration is successful, you can access the Iserver license screen to view the license status
