Recently, I spent a few days reading Schönberger's book "Big Data age". The overall feeling is that the author has objectively expressed his point of view, both sides of this article discuss in depth. Before I bought a book, I read comments from many other friends and made heated discussions on the author's relevance and causal points. I think ambiguity and debate are necessary to promote technological progress and create a new era.
Before reading this book, I did not have a systematic understanding of the big data mentioned in the book. After reading this book, I felt very open. Although the book did not discuss specific technical details, however, I have benefited a lot from the idea of being global. At this time, I carefully thought about some details of my life and suddenly found that the big data era has come and is everywhere.
Especially in Internet enterprises, big data is widely used, but we are not fully aware of it yet. All our behaviors and comments on the Internet have been recorded and analyzed. So sometimes I will be surprised by the precise recommendations of some websites and the powerful Google translation.
The big data era has come. As an IT practitioner, I often lament the rapid development of technology, but I am also very lucky that we are in such an era full of vigor and vitality, and the future is in our own hands.
PS: I mentioned several times in my book how Amazon uses big data. I just read an electronic version of this book using Kindle. So I wrote the following comments in my book:
"Hello, Amazon.
Hello, big data ."
I think Amazon has received the data I gave him ^. ^
