I ' ve run out of adjectives!
James Gosling, the father of Java, released a short blog post last week on Dennis Ritchie (Dennis Ritchie), the parent of C language (I ' ve run out of adjectives), which James Goslin was compiled online as follows:
The news of Dennis Ritchie's death is like Thunderstruck. A lot of information has been reported in the past few days. His influence is enormous and goes beyond the technological world, and although most of his influence is unknown, it can be fully felt. C Language propped up everything. My entire career has evolved from C and Unix.
For most engineers today, it's hard to understand the happiness I felt in the 1970s. When a programming language finally appears, I (others) can ascend from assembly language to a real programming language. We can do anything, in the past we had to write all the lower bit systems. Before the C language, the programming language did not reach the task: the overhead was too high. The complexity of the system is really hindering the writing of large-scale software in assembly language. C language is like the JATO of code.
(Note: "JATO" is a "jet-fuel assisted take off" abbreviation, literally: "Auxiliary takeoff jet fuel". The system provides auxiliary power through small rockets to help the overloaded aircraft take off. )
Here are some comments James Goslin this article:
Truely James. For every computer professional in the world, the first language they come across are C. With so much of wonderfulness and which also makes the learning experience so fun and entertaining. RIP Ritchie!!!
That's right, James! For every computer professional, the first programming language they touch is the C language. There are so many amazing places in (c) that make the learning process very interesting. Rest in peace, Richie!!!
Great Ones is falling. I still love C. So simple. So powerful.
The downfall of a superstar. I still love the C language. So simple, so powerful.
I remember C being like Adventure for programmers:lots of little pits for the unwary to fall into. Even after many years there were a few I hadn ' t found. It was a good time.
I remember the C language is the programmer's adventure: There are a lot of small pits, accidentally caught in. Even after many years, there are some things I have not found. It was a wonderful moment.
The equation is quite simple:richie are like Einstein, pure Genius. All the IT are built on K&r works. Thanks man, and RIP ...
The equation is very simple: Ricky is like Einstein, pure genius. Everything in the IT industry is based on Kemberhan and Ricky's results. Thanks, rest ...
