My configuration

Operating system: Windows Server 2003 SP2

Memory: 1024M or more

1. Download Oracle 11g Address

Http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/oracle11g/win32_11gR1_database_1013.zip

Basic Installation

After decompression, it can be installed. Execute SETUP.EXE, run under DOS for a moment into Oracle 11G

Oracle configuration Manager allows you to associate configuration information with the Metalink account. You can choose to enable it on this window

Installation-Installation method interface Here you specify your own installation method, Oracle provides two installation methods: Basic installation (I) and Advanced installation (A)

Basic installation (I): Perform a full 11g installation with standard configuration options (minimum input required).

Note: This option is stored using the file system and uses a password for all database accounts (SYS, SYSTEM, Sysman, DBSNMP). To set the home directory for the installation, the installation type, and create a startup database.

Advanced Installation (A): Advanced options, set different passwords for different accounts, select database language, product language, automatic backup, custom installation, and alternate storage options (automatic storage management).

Check installation conditions

Installation Summary, click the Install button to start the installation
