The SQL Server Configuration Manager cannot connect to the WMI provider, sqlwmi
The SQL server cannot be opened today. An error is reported. When I open the SQL server Configuration Manager, I can see this error.
Then I searched for the solution to this problem on the Internet. The solutions are as follows:
First:
Read the database program network service.
C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/90/Shared Add the network service or user permission to this directory. Of course, you can add Everyone.
I do not know how to operate this method, and I will not add it.
Second:
Check whether the system file framedyn. dll exists in system32 in windows. If the system file framedyn. dll is not copied to the wbem file in system32 to the system32 directory. I went to the system32 directory to find the framedyn. dll file, but I did not find it. Then I went to the system32/wbem directory, looked for framedyn. dll, and copied it to the system32 directory.
My framedyn. dll file originally exists, so this method does not work for me ..
Third:
Start and run cmd.exe in the command line.
Go to the installation directory cd/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/90/Shared
Enter mofcomp "C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/90/Shared/sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up. mof"
The specific path depends on the installation path of your SQL
The execution result is roughly as follows:
Microsoft (R) 32-bit MOF Compiler Version 5.1.2600.2180
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corp. 1997-2001. All rights reserved.
Parsing MOF file: C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/90/Shared/sqlmgmprovider
Xpsp2up. mof
MOF file has been successfully parsed
Storing data in the repository...
Done!
On servers, the. mof file will be sqlmgmprovider. mof.
Note: If you are prompted when executing the second command, 'mofcomp 'is not an internal or external command, or a program or batch file that can be run.
On the desktop, right-click my computer-properties-advanced options-environment variables-edit path in system variables and add:; % SystemRoot % \ System32 \ Wbem.
I performed the operation, but the problem was not solved.
Tip: C:/Program Files/Microsoft SQL Server/90/Shared/sqlmgmproviderxpsp2up. mof not found
Fourth:
1. Right-click my computer and choose manage"
2. Double-click the Administrators group in "local users and groups". The add attribute dialog box is displayed.
3. Click Add. The Add User dialog box is displayed.
4. Click "advanced" and then "Search" (or "Search now. Note: The 'nt AUTHORITY \ NETWORK service' user is a built-in system account and cannot be added directly.
5. Select the "Network Service" user in "Search Results" and click "OK"
The fourth method is the easiest and the simplest method I think. However, the problem is still there ..
Finally, I opened two SQL Server services: SQL Server and SQL Server Browser.
It may be because the SQL server has not been used for too long and these two services have not been opened. After the two services are opened, SQL server can be opened or used.
We hope that we can solve this problem smoothly in the future.
