On July 6, February this year, Microsoft released the sample code browser version 2. Its functions focus on enhancing the code search and browsing experience, allowing developers to easily find the desired examples in the 600 sample code. Shortly after the release, the project team received an important user feedback: The sample code browser and the download package of 600 sample code were too large, and it was difficult to manage and update the code locally. In this regard, the third edition of the sample code browser has greatly improved the sample download, update, and management functions. You can download the sample files as needed, manage the sample files in a centralized manner, and obtain sample update information in a timely manner.

What are the main new features of the sample code browser in the third edition?

1. Download the sample code as needed

The third edition of the sample code browser is a very small and easy-to-install program. All the sample Code is hosted on the MSDN Code Gallery. This browser calls the MSDN Code Gallery programming interface to search for and list the sample Code. As required, developers can easily download a sample code of interest.

2. Centralized sample code download management

In the third edition of sample code, you can configure the sample code download directory to centrally manage the downloaded sample code.
