Troubleshoot SQL Server users who cannot log on

The following prompt appears when you open SQL Server:SQL2008 user ' sa ' Login failed (Error 18456)

Workaround:

1. Open the database --Log in to the database with Windows identity

2. Security----logon name---SA---open property settings

3, General-Set password--OK

4. In select Page---status (Grant, start)

5. Right-click the server name ---Properties---security---Sql sercer and Windows Authentication mode, permissions failed logon---OK

6. Right-click the server name--reboot--Close the database connection, exit the program--log in to the database with SA--to resolve

If the above method is not valid, then go to the Start menu--microsoft SQL Server 2008--Configuration Tool--microsoft SQL Server 2008
