Two ftp transmission modes: Linux Enterprise Application-Linux server application information. For details, refer to the following section. Because the two ftp transmission modes are always mixed, write down them for reference.
There are two FTP connection modes: PORT and PASV. The PORT mode is an active mode, and the PASV mode is a passive mode, which is relative to the server. In active mode, the server actively connects to a port greater than 1024 of the client with port 20 (this port is the port that the client tells the server through the port command ). In passive mode, the client uses a port greater than 1024 to connect to a port greater than 1024 of the server.
From the perspective of the C/S model, PORT is OUTBOUND for servers and PASV is INBOUND for servers. Pay special attention to this, especially in enterprises that use firewalls, this is critical. If an error is set, the customer will not be able to connect.
