Two Oracle DB instances are installed on the same server, how do you differentiate which DB instance you are working with by using command to start and stop a database? The operation is as follows:
1. On the command line
Set Oracle_sid=one_ instance//Modify environment variable first, this step equals switch db instance
Sqlplus/nolog
Connect/as SYSDBA
Shutdown
Or
2, when the connection
Sqlplus User/[email protected] as SYSDBA//can also be specified
Shutdown immediate
Select instance_name from v$instance//view current Environment default SID environment variable
Individuals like to use the second method.
