The following articles mainly describe how to correctly start or disable the Oracle archive mode. We all know that the Oracle database runs in two modes, mainly implementing the Oracle archive mode (archivelog) non-archive mode (noarchivelog ).
The Oracle archive mode can improve the recoverability of Oracle databases. Production Databases should all run in this mode. The Archive mode should be combined with the corresponding backup policies, only when the archive mode does not have a corresponding backup policy will it be troublesome.
This article briefly introduces how to enable and disable the Oracle archiving mode for databases.
