Windows with Sourceinsight and Linux collaboration coding habit with Sourceinsight read and write code, in Linux for a moment no similar tool, VI operation is not familiar, occasionally look or small change code also line, project a big feeling on the powerless , so I'm still going to use the code under Windows. Readand write, Linux under compile run. The following is the installation and configuration process for the environment, recording the memo.   Environment Description:  Windows 7 + sourceinsight 3.5  Ubuntu 11.04 (here is VMware-based virtual machines, theoretically not limited to virtual machines)   The following are mainly divided into two parts, One is the installation and configuration of samba under Ubuntu, and the second is the mapping of Linux shared directories to network drives under Windows. I. Ubuntu 11.04 under Installation and configuration of Samba   1) Install Samba package   # sudo apt-get install samba  # sudo apt-get install Smbclie nt   2) Create a shared directory: (directory name can be customized)   # mkdir/home/share  # chmod-r 777/home/share    # If you do not change the permissions, window s cannot write (for read-only sharing)!!!    3) Modify Samba profile:  # Cp/etc/samba/smb.conf/etc/samba/smb.conf.bak   # Backup Samba profile   # gedit/e tc/samba/smb.conf      A. Find "# security = user" and change it to "security = share"   # Note: Remove the comment symbol from the beginning of the line   &NBSP ;     Description: Security = Share means that anyone can sign in without entering a password; the default security = user means that each user must enter a password to log on.     B. Add the following at the end of the configuration file (not including the comment section at the end of the line)     [share]                        # shared filename, customizable, inconsistent with shared directory name     Comment=vmware Ubuntu Shis    # share description, customizable     path=/home/share               # shared directory, should be associated with a previously created Consistent, must be absolute path     Public=yes                     # allow everyone to see this directory &N Bsp   Writable=yes                   # allow users to write in this directory    4) Restart Samba Services & nbsp # SUDO/ETC/INIT.D/SMBD restart    Samba Installation and configuration is complete.    two. Under Windows 7, map the shared directory for step one to a network drive.   1) Ensure that Ubuntu network configuration OK, view and record the IP address here, take 192.168.128.128 as an example. You can use ping to detect whether the network is unblocked under Windows 7 cmd.       If OK, enter "\\192.168.128.128\share" in the Windows Explorer address bar to access the shared directory.   2) Right-click on the [Computer] icon (XP may be right-click on the [Network Places] icon), select "Map Grid drive (N) ..."       Select the appropriate drive letter in the "Drives" section, select as w;      in the "Folder" column, enter "\\192.168.128.128\share";      Click Finish.   3) Double-click [Computer] to see a network drive with a drive letter W.    three. Share the code.   Put the code in the shared directory created above, create Sourceinsight project here, you can modify and write the code in Windows with Sourceinsight; compile in Ubuntu.  ====================================================================  the second approach to using VMware's own shared Folders feature   said to be self-bringing, Actually need to install vmware-tools, specifically how to install please Baidu;  share directory on the Linux side is/mnt/hgfs; in win need in the VMware system setting-"option-" Shared folders set
