The remix is based on the standard Ubuntu Desktop Edition but with a launcher that allows users to get on-line more quickly and have faster access to their favorite applications

Ubuntu Netbook Remix has not been officially downloaded yet. I believe it will soon be! Ubuntu has been working with Intel, and this system is specially designed for Intel Atom processors, so it should be able to be installed on portable computers that are also Intel Atom!
