Ubuntu16.04 connects to the android mobile phone Bluetooth sharing network hotspot, ubuntu16.04android
Recently I want to use the android mobile phone Bluetooth to share the wifi network for ubuntu16.04. I checked a lot of information and found that there are very few useful information on the Internet. After practice, share the following information.
Step 1: phone and computer pairing:
This step is relatively simple. You can also find relevant information on the Internet. The general steps are recorded as follows (because mobile phones are slightly different ):
(1) Enable Bluetooth on the mobile phone and set it to visible to the surrounding devices (because the mobile phone is different );
(2) turn on the computer's bluetooth: click "system settings" ---> click "Bluetooth" (left) ---> select two buttons to "open" status (medium) ---> click (medium) in the + number ---> the system automatically searches for multiple visible devices (here is the mobile phone) ---> then select the device ---> select "Forward" for pairing.
(3) Enable the Bluetooth Network Sharing of the mobile phone (you can search by yourself because the mobile phone is different );
Step 2: connect to the Bluetooth Network:
(1) Click the network status button in the upper-right corner of the ubuntu screen:
Open the following Network Configuration window and select "add"
Select "Bluetooth" ---> select "new"
Select "personal LAN" ---> select "OK"
Enter the network name (set as needed) ----> click the triangle at the right of the device column and select the paired mobile phone (this step is displayed after the pairing is successful)
Step 3: connect to the network
Now, the settings are complete and you can connect to the network:
(1) Click the Bluetooth icon () ----> select the device name ---> connect;
(2) Click the Network icon () ----> you can see the configured Bluetooth Network Name ----> click.
