How Cacti works
Start Installation
Install the SDK through apt-get on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install snmpd cacti-spine rrdtool
Configure the MySQL database, enter the user password, confirm again, and choose to continue
Next, press "return" or "Enter" to confirm the PHP configuration change.
Select "Apache2" from the Web server list"
After configuring Apache, Cacti installs the application of the MySQL account. Select "yes" to allow General Database Configuration

Next, you will be asked about the password of the database used by Cacti. This is an internal password. Enter the new password and select OK. If you press Enter, a random password will be created.
