Communication World Network (CWW) July 10 According to media reports, Apple has sent a batch of Chinese-made WCDMA iphones to the lab for network testing. However, no official report has yet been issued.
The reporter contacted Apple China Unicom, the Chinese public relations company, but the relevant people said that the iphone has not been the case of clear news.
Previously on the iphone into China, Unicom has not made a clear statement, only that the two sides are in the negotiation stage. The main problem with the lack of agreement between the two sides is the iphone's profit-sharing model.
Deng Zhongyuan, a well-known analyst, believes the iphone will be submitted for sale, which is normal for product sales, and any brand of mobile phones in the Chinese market must be tested by the Thai laboratory, through testing and access to the network license. Whether the iphone will be able to enter China in a customized way by Unicom is also a step forward for the two sides to cooperate. Of course, if the iphone can not become a customized mobile phone, at least through the market channels to officially enter the Chinese market.
Given Apple's business model, it is unlikely to enter the Chinese market in bare-metal form. So Apple's specially customized version of the iphone has been tested in the network, and it is likely to reflect that Apple's negotiations with Unicom may have made substantial progress.
