Upgrade from Fedora 20 to 21
In Versions later than Fedora 18, fedup is used as the upgrade tool. For more information, see upgrade from Fedora 17 to 18 18. (See note 1)
However, if you directly use fedup -- network 21, the following message is displayed:
According to the prompts, the original Fedora 21 packages different versions based on different usage characteristics. It mainly includes:
- Workstation
- Server
- Cloude cloud
- Nonproduct non-productive
During installation and upgrade, you must use the -- prouduct parameter to specify the required version.
Therefore, the upgrade command of the workstation should be:
Fedora -- network 21 -- product = workstation
