　　1. Build a shared TV program center through the Windows Media Encoder

Windows Media Encoder and Windows Media Player are like twin sisters. Windows Media Encoder is a media production software of Microsoft, which can be used to set up online radio stations and live videos, the latest version is Windows Media Encoder 9 (: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/CN/9series/encoder ).

The driver of the TV card must be installed on the computer as the server and can watch TV programs normally. We recommend that you use Windows 2000/XP/2003

Windows Media Encoder is installed in the operating system and software. To watch TV programs, you only need to install Windows Media Player.

In terms of operation, the Windows Media Encoder adopts a simple and easy-to-use Wizard method, so it is very suitable for common users. When setting up a shared TV program center, perform the following operations:

1. When you start the Windows Media Encoder for the first time, the "new session" Wizard dialog box appears. Click the "broadcast live events" option and click "OK.

2. In the pop-up "device options" dialog box, select the TV card model and audio device you are using based on the actual configuration. In addition, click the "set" button on the right of the "video" to select the desired TV channel, cable or antenna access mode, and video standard options, video Standard is generally used in China's PAL-D standard, after the check is complete, click "Next" button.

3. in the next step, select the "auto encoder pull transfer" method in the "broadcast method" window. In the next "broadcast connection" window, you can determine the port used for television broadcasting. 4. in the subsequent "encoding options" window, determine the video and audio encoding methods for TV programs. 5. The configuration of the Windows Media Encoder has been basically completed. If there are no other requirements, click the "finish" button to complete the configuration. In the next few steps, we will mainly set whether the broadcast copy is archived, whether to add welcome files, titles, and so on.

After setting, return to the main window and click the start code button to tell other friends the server address above to share the TV program with other friends.

TIPS: If you often use the sharing tool, you can save the existing project configuration as a file: WME format session file. In this way, you only need to open this file for future use, then you can simply modify the channel to play the video directly.
