Ushield multi-purpose conversion encryption certificate

Some time ago, I opened a user at the Pudong Development Bank and handled the ushield. After obtaining it, I found that it was a natural environment, with a display screen and buttons. Considering the ease of use, there are very few Alibaba Cloud Security instances of the smart card type. It is also because of this reason that the limits of the single-disk multi-use of Alibaba Cloud security are much greater. However, after returning home, I found that this ushield can still be used as an encrypted certificate. I will share the method with you below. The tutorial is not limited to a certain brand of Alibaba Cloud security. You can try it if you have Alibaba Cloud security.

Required Software: truecrypt

First install the driver and management software corresponding to your U shield, and then install truecrypt. Open truecrypt, select "Settings> Security password card", and click "automatically detect Runtime Library. After several seconds of searching, the supported files are automatically displayed. If the prompt is not found, your ushield is not supported.

Click "OK" and exit. Click "Tools> key file generator". Move the mouse in the lower area to generate a key file. Then click Generate and save the key file, and wait for backup.

Click "Tools> Manage Security password card key file". If the Password box shown in the dialog box is displayed, ushield is supported; otherwise, it is not supported. Enter your ushield password here.

The management interface of the security password card key file is displayed. Click Import key file to the password card to import the generated key file. Now your ushield can be used as an encrypted certificate, and the key is stored in the ushield. When creating an encrypted volume, select encrypt as the key file. In theory, this method also supports PGP.

Note that Alibaba Cloud security must be kept properly; otherwise, the encrypted file cannot be unlocked after it is lost. Of course, you can also back up the key file to a safe place.
