Using VSFTPD to erect Linux operating system network server

3. The VSFTPD run mode in this post is run in standalone mode, that is to say, vsftpd all functions in this post are run in the standalone mode. As for some functions can be run in xinetd mode, you have to test, can not copy. Because some features must be running in a particular mode.

3. IP and DNS settings for the server

First network card

ip:192.168.0.1

Child Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway is not set:

Second network card:

ip:192.168.0.2

Child Mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway is not set

Because my operating environment is a small local area network, so the IP of other machine is in 192.168.0 this network segment. ADSL is connected to the first network card on the server. The second NIC on the server is the hub, and the other clients are connected to the hub. In order to allow ADSL access to the Internet, because they set the IP manually, so DNS to set up their own, DNS is as follows:

1. Check to see if the VSFTPD software is installed
