Changed a new notebook, installed a virtual machine, imported the previous Linux system image, a problem.
Prompt for the following error message:
- - -bit operation. This host supports Intel VT-X, but Intel vt-x is disabled. Intel vt-x may be disabled if Intel Vt-x has been disabled in the BIOS/firmware settings, or if the host has never restarted since the setting was changed. (1) confirm that Intel vt-x is enabled in the bios/firmware settingsand "Trusted execution" is disabled. (2) If one of these two bios/ firmware settings has changed, restart the host. (3) If you never restart the host after installing VMware Workstation, reboot. (4) Update the host's bios/ firmware to the latest version. Cause of the problem:
The BIOS for my notebook does not have the Intel Vt-x option turned on.
Workaround:
Restart your notebook to enter the BIOS and find the Intel Vt-x option to make it available!!
