VMware Workstation VM cloning method
Since learning about and using the VMware Workstation Virtual Machine, it's really a good thing! We often use virtual machines for various tests. It is a waste of time for beginners to reinstall the operating system because the system crashes and cannot be started due to misoperation. After the original operating system is installed on our virtual machine, clone it and prepare several copies for backup to facilitate subsequent experiments and avoid re-installing the operating system.
Use VMware Workstation 10.0 Chinese edition for software environments
This method is applicable to various operating systems installed with all vmwarevirtual machines.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Open the vmwarevm main interface, select the virtual machine in the menu bar, and select snapshot-Snapshot manager from the drop-down menu.
2. Select the clone button. The clone wizard is displayed. Click "Next"
3. Select the operating system that is currently installed in Kelon
4. Create a complete clone of the clone type (an independent and complete operating system is equivalent to a new system)
5. Create a name for the cloned Virtual Machine and specify a large partition directory for storage. Click "finish" to complete the cloning. In the same way, you can duplicate several virtual machines for backup.
