What configurations do Oracle Webcenter Content (UCM) need to be configured to meet enterprise application requirements ?, Webcenterucm
Background:
After UCM is installed, it is usually a cluster of two UCM servers. Some configurations are required to meet the needs of enterprise applications, for example, the file storage path, security, default storage size, and user synchronization. What configurations do you need? The configuration steps are as follows:
Configuration steps:
The following nine steps are required:
I. configuration information Initialization
Access Node 1 server https: // Node 1 ip: 16200/cs, configure the Native File Repository Location and Weblayout Folder paths, and the ip addresses accessible by the Security Filter
Note:
The Native File Repository Location corresponds to the VaultDir attribute in the intradoc. cfg File under the $ oracle_home/user_projects/domains/portal_domain/ucm/cs/bin path, which is the actual storage path of the File on the server.
The Weblayout Folder corresponds to the WeblayoutDir attribute in the intradoc. cfg file under the $ oracle_home/user_projects/domains/portal_domain/ucm/cs/bin path, which is the path of the WebLoaction of the file.
Change the two paths to the shared Mount directory. The same configuration is also required for node 2 servers.
Note that when uploading a 1 M File, UCM stores the 1 m File in the Native File Repository Location and Weblayout Folder path, the disk size of the server is 2 MB in total, so the size of the shared disk needs to be considered.
Command to view the shared disk size, df-h shared directory, such as df-h/oracle/sharefile/
Restart the UCM server.
Ii. Component Activation
Open Administration-> Admin Server, and open the "Component Manager" Panel on the Admin Server Page.
Enable: WebCenterConfigure, DynamicConverter, and other components
Enable the Folder_g component
3. Configure DB-based content storage
1. Administration ==> Providers open Providers
2. Find the DefaultFileStore option and click the Info link to view and edit the property of the Provider.
3. Click "Edit" to Edit
4. Edit "Storage Rules" and click "Edit Rule"
5. You can see that the original "Storage Rule" is "File System Only", change it to "JDBC Storage", and click "OK" to confirm modification.
Iv. Configure UCM and webcenter Integration
1. Start WC_Space and UCM_Server two Managed servers, use weblogic user to log on to https://xx.xx.xx.xx: port/em, select WebCenter-> Portal-> space-> webcenter (11.1.1)
2. Configure UCM connection
3. Add a content and materials Archive
The configuration is as follows:
The server needs to be restarted to take effect. Check the following:
5. Modify the default storage of the UCM folder
1. log on to the server where UCM is located and go to its installation directory.
For example: $ ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/portal_domain/ucm/cs/data/collectionconfig
2. Modify maxCollections and maxContentPerCollection in the collectionadminconfig. hda file.
MaxCollections
20000
MaxContentPerCollection
2000
3. Restart the UCM server to log on to the/cs console and check whether the parameters have been changed.
6. Create an ACL
1. log on to UCM (https: // xxxx: 16200/cs), open the "Administration-> Admin Server" option, and then select "General Configuration ",
Add the following content to "Additional Configuration Variables" and click "Save" to Save the modification:
UseEntitySecurity = true
AllowQuerySafeUserColumns = true
2. Open the "Administration-> Admin Applets" option, select "User Admin", open the Java Applet, and select "Security-> Permissions by Group" in the toolbar"
3. define a new Security Group for ACL control. This Group is used to set the Security Group to this value for files/virtual folders that need to enable ACL control, in this way, files/folders with ACL control enabled can only be accessed by users/groups/roles added to the system administrator or the ACL list. Other users have no access permissions, the Security Group created here is named "XXXUcmSecure" and its access permissions are set as appropriate:
4. Open the "Administration-> Admin Server" option, select "General Configuration", add the following content to "Additional Configuration Variables", and click "Save" to Save the changes.
SpecialAuthGroups = XXXUcmSecure
5. Enable the role object ACL
Enable the RoleEntityACL component
7. Create a Security Group
8. Creation of OID providers
Configure Ldap Provider:
1. Open the Administration-> Providers page, select "ldapuser" in the "Create a New Provider" area, and then select "Add" to Add the LDAP Provider.
2. Configure the basic information of the LDAP Provider. Connect to the OID here. Click "Add" After configuration.
After creation, restart the UCM Server as prompted.
4. After the restart, go to the Provider status page in step 3 and prompt that all LDAP connections are available.
9. Synchronize the UCM Group
