What happens if I forget my Oracle user name password?
Forgot the user name and password set at installation? Check the information on the Internet, finally solved!
Method One:
First enter the Sqlplus: There are two ways to enter, one is through the CMD command console input sqlplus, the other is directly in the beginning-"program-" oracle-"Application Development-" sqlplus.
Search "Oracle 11g default username, password", can find a lot of relevant default user name and password information, I will not post it.
- Then use the default username and password to verify one by one, to see if there is no login, if the display: "Invalid Username/password;logon denied" will continue to try other users. Until found to appear: "Error; The account is locked "user, write down the user name, for example I found Ordsys this user is locked.
- Re-login to Sqlplus, enter the "Please enter user name:" prompt, "/as sysdba", the screen displays "Connect to: ..." and other information. Then the "sql>" prompt appears, at this prompt, enter: "Alert user Ordsys account unlock;" Note that there is a semicolon, or it will automatically appear after the input "2" waiting for you to continue to enter. The screen now displays: "The user has changed. ”
Re-login Sqlplus, in the "Please enter user name:" Prompt input: "Ordsys", after "Enter password:" After entering "Ordsys", the console will display: "Error;the password has expired", and then asked to enter a new password, confirm the new password. At this point, finally, the user name and password can be successfully connected to the database.
Method Two:
In addition, you can change the password for users such as system SYS that is set up when Oracle is installed:
- Login Sqlplus/nolog
- Connection database: Connect/as sysdba
- Modify User Password (example: Modify sys user password to 123): Alter USER SYS identified by 123;
- Method Three:
Set up user information using OEMs. In the browser, type: https://localhost:1158/em
Will go to the OEM interface, select the "Server" tab, find "user" click.
