This problem occurs when Oracle is installed on Linux for the first time. Previously, when installing Oracle on Linux, The RedHat series Linux was generally used. During the installation process, a lot of installation work needs to be done, such as installing the RPM package, creating groups and users, modify Kernel Parameters and environment variables. This time, we use RedFlag's Asianux 3 and the Oracle Installation auxiliary tool Oranavi to help users quickly complete these preparations through a graphical interface.
It is reasonable to say that using this version of Linux will soon be able to complete the installation of Oracle, and it has been installed in the previous project. At that time, there was no problem. I did not expect that this installation encountered some problems. When using Oranavi for installation, the system prompts that the Oracle user has no permission to execute the Oracle Installation program. Therefore, the Oracle Installation program file permission is completely released, and the result is the same. Then I consulted the support engineer and found the problem lies in the directory of the Oracle installer file. When uploading an Oracle Installation File, I put it in a sub-directory under/root. Oracle users are restricted in reading this file. The problem is solved by placing the file in a directory other than root and modifying the directory location in Oranavi.
At the end of installation, an error such as "invalid PORT value NULL" occurs when creating a database instance, which is thrown by EMCA. Since Oracle is installed automatically by Oranavi, there will be no errors in principle? Then, a new instance is created to check whether the problem can be solved. Only google is supported. Later, the root cause of the problem was the hosts file, that is, the/etc/hosts file. In the file, the system IP address is incorrect. It may be the address of another network card by default, so the IP address is changed to the address of the network card currently in use, and the problem is solved. It seems that any tool has made mistakes.
