Php-fpm can act as webservice, which has never been tested... however, LZ can check based on the port on the server. for example, check netstat-anp to determine which program listens to port 80, and then determine.

If the site is on port 80
Netstat-anp | grep 80

The result may be similar to the following:
Tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1: 80 0.0.0.0: * LISTEN 4213/nginx: worker

In the last column, port 80 is running nginx, and so on.

Php-fpm is actually listening. if you know nginx, you will know that it calls the fast-cgi internal setting, it is equivalent to getting the content of a dedicated webserver through a proxy, only some parameters need to be passed according to cgi specifications. php-cgi itself has this function.
