Why Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g is favored by partners

Oracle announced the launch of a new database partner, network (OPN), at the time of Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g) resources and partners-oriented plug-ins and connectors for Oracle enterprise managers. To better develop, implement, and sell solutions based on the Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g.

The new Ops Center Knowledge Area of the Oracle Enterprise Manager for Apsara stack Oracle helps partners quickly obtain the required tools, knowledge, and deep information based on the collective wisdom of the community. In addition, it can make services and products stand out in the market.

The partner is able to take advantage of the information provided by the new "Knowledge zone" by performing the ongoing UDF certification for sales, pre-sales, and support personnel, work on the skill requirements in the Oracle Enterprise Manager special plan.

So far, more than 500 Oracle partners have been certified and become Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Enterprise Manager Application quality management experts, assign sales, pre-sales, or implementation support personnel with key skills in the solution. These experts are the key skill evaluation criteria for implementing the Oracle Enterprise Manager UDF special plan, which will be launched in June this year.

In addition, Oracle partners that provide Integration plug-ins and connectors in the future can use the Oracle Validated Integration (OVI) plan. Oracle Validated Integration uses strict technical procedures to check the Integration of third-party software solutions with Oracle application products. OVI provides Oracle application products, tools, technical resources and training courses to help partners achieve integration based on Oracle standards and best practices. Partners who have successfully passed the Integration verification can be authorized to use the "Oracle Validated Integration" identifier. Oracle Validated Integration is provided through the UDF to assure customers that the Integration between Oracle Enterprise Manager and complementary partner solutions has been verified and works collaboratively according to design. This helps reduce risks, shorten the system implementation cycle, and provide smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance.

Oracle also announced the latest batch of companies that use open integration APIs in Oracle Enterprise Manager to develop enterprise-level plug-ins and connectors, including brocade, F5, Halcyon, HP, NEC, and Voltaire. These partners provide customers with a way to seamlessly monitor the performance of heterogeneous systems and actively manage the operation of the entire IT system.

So far, Oracle and its partners have provided over 45 plug-ins and connectors to monitor it technology, interact with management frameworks, and connect to service management systems. The following latest plug-ins have been added to a wide range of plug-ins and connector series dominated by partners:

· F5 BIG-IP Plugin: provides integrated monitoring and management for F5 BIG-IP application delivery controllers.

· Brocade plug-in: this plug-in is jointly developed by Brocade and its partner Halcyon, which provides integrated monitoring and management for Brocade Serverlron. The network administrator can use this plug-in to perform active monitoring and detailed Configuration Analysis on Brocade ServerIron.

· Voltaire plug-in: Allows Oracle Enterprise Manager to manage Voltaire InfiniBand and receive alerts about interconnection issues in the Oracle Real Application cluster (RAC) environment.

· Storage-oriented HP and NEC plug-ins: Allows Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g to actively manage HP StorageWorks XP Disk Arrays and HP StorageWorks SAN virtualization service platform (SVSP) as well as the heterogeneous storage systems of the nec s series and D series.
