DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) has been established by Sony, Intel, Microsoft and so on to address the interconnection of wireless and wired networks for personal PCs, consumer electronics and mobile devices.
Simply put, through the DLNA technology, mobile phones, tablets, computers, televisions (or audio and other audio and video devices) can be connected to each other in a home area network, where music, photos and videos can be accessed from one another.
Now smartphones, whether iphones, Android or Windows Phone, or even Nokia N9 handsets using Meego systems, support DLNA sharing video.
Windows 7/8 provides support for media streaming, which enables the interconnection of media files between computers, televisions, and mobile phones using DLNA technology.
The following operating settings will enable Windows 7/8 to turn on media streaming support, enabling the Internet to be broadcast on the same LAN, computer, TV and mobile media files.
