Oracle 11g Installation

10. Create a new custom directory: Under D disk to create a new folder, named MyOracle, enter this folder, a new folder inside, named Oracle. Note: The names of these two folders can be defined by themselves, but it is best not to use the name of the folder of Chinese masterpieces, it is easy to problem. It is best to have a directory structure like the following.

oracle11g Uninstall

1. Turn off all Oracle services.

WINDOW7 users can shut down all services that begin with Oracle within the Windows Task Manager--> service; XP users can right-click on my Computer--> admin--> Service and Application--> service to find all services that begin with Oracle , right click, Close.

2. To open the registry: regedit

Open path:
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\
Remove all Oracle-initiated service names under this path, which identifies Oracle's various services registered under Windows!

3. Find the path:
Hkey_local_machine\software\oracle

Deletes the Oracle directory, which registers software installation information for the Oracle database.

4. Delete the registered Oracle Event log and open the registry
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\eventlog\application

Deletes all items in the registry that begin with Oracle.

5. Delete the content about Oracle in the environment variable path. (This step seems to be done or not.) ）

Right-click My Computer--> Properties--> Advanced--> environment variable-->path variable.

Deletes Oracle's content in this value.  Note: A directory of operating systems is recorded in path, and semicolons are used between directories in Windows (; ) separated and noted when deleted.

Recommendation: When deleting a value for Oracle in the PATH environment variable, copy the value to a text editor, find the corresponding Oracle value, delete it, and then copy the modified string and paste it into the PATH environment variable, which is relatively safe.

6. Restart the operating system.

After the 1~5 steps are completed, restart the operating system.

7. Various Oracle-related processes are not loaded after restarting the operating system.

Removing Oracle's installation directory here is the benefit of creating a separate directory above. You can directly delete the custom Oracle folder directly. (Database things seem to be very slow to delete).

If you do not follow the customization, locate the default installation directory and delete it.

8. Delete the Oracle entry in the Start menu.

At this point, Oracle is completely uninstalled under the Windows platform.
