This article describes the problems that users who install Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools Beta encounter when updating the RTM version and the main updates.
Windows Phone Developer Tools has finally been released ,.
After waiting for a long time, the download is complete and installation starts. Due to the previous installation of the beta version, some minor problems were encountered during the installation of the official version. The error message is as follows:
You need to delete the related files of Beta, and find them in the uninstall program panel:
Microsoft Windows Phone Developer Tools Beta-enu
I just uninstalled this item, and all others are uninstalled together :).
The next step is to install it. We have to wait, for example:
If Visual Studio 2010 ultimate and expression blend 4 are installed, wpdt only installs templates for them, which is much faster. Otherwise, wpdt will install Visual Studio 2010 express for Windows Phone and expression blend 4 for Windows Phone. Please wait.
Next we will compare the differences between the new and old versions:
1. Added pivot, Panorama, and databound application types to the new project.
The list application option in the original version is removed (this option does not seem to be of much use before)
2. the pivot and panorama pages are added to the new items.
Some options in the previous version of xNa are included in the xNa game list of the new version.
3. updates in the blend section are similar to those in Visual Studio. They are all changes to the project template. I will not make one-by-one textures any more. (The textures should be scolded. They are all images ~~)
I have little experience writing blogs. If you have any questions, please point out that I hope you can write something to help you.
