Not long ago, Microsoft released the Windows Phone 8.1 SDK Software Development Kit to developers, and as usual, more information about the WP8.1 system leaked to the web, so the Internet has a list of features that appear to be quite comprehensive with Windows Phone 8.1. Recently, a new feature about WP8.1 has been exposed, that is, a user can mute a conversation in a text message.

This feature isn't much of an improvement, but it's still very useful for many users. A single or group conversation can set information to alert mute, this can be protected from those users do not want to bother, but do not have to pull him into the blacklist, because the message will still be received, but will not notify the user, the number of information will not be counted to the active magnetic paste. Of course, it is also very convenient to remove the mute.

Currently, there are some fairly useful new features in the Windows Phone 8.1 update list, such as the Notification Center, the addition of new podcast applications, and enhancements to IE, OneDrive, and so on. But Microsoft's published SDK does not include some of the rumored features, such as voice assistant Cortana.

It is widely believed that Microsoft is expected to release the details of the WP8.1 in April, before and after the Build 2014 developer conference, and to release 8.1 of the official version of the system in the ensuing months. For existing WP8 users, the good news is that their WP8 devices can be upgraded to the WP8.1 system.
