RDF is another W3C-approved standard used to define information and resources. XML is not required for RDF, but XML is used for describing information serialization.
To define a resource, you must specify an expression containing the subject, predicate, and object. For example, if the content of a website is described, the subject is the website, the predicate is "containing information", and the object is the content type. You can use the Friend of a Friend (FOAF) flag to establish a link between the two resources.
The purpose of RDF is to convert natural language statements about resources and information into machine-readable formats. For example The MCSLP.com Website is authored by Martin C BrownThis sentence is rewritten to the rdf xml shown in listing 4.

Another example of adopting the RDF standard is the chain system provided by news sites and blogs early on. they use the RDF standard to define the abstract content and different news. Listing 5 provides an example.

The purpose of the original design of the RDF standard is to describe resources, content, and relationships on the Web. However, RDF is now the standard used to describe general information, resources, and relationships.
Both semantic Web and grid technologies need to define resources and their relationships so that applications can use different information and bind data together.
