Xshell remote connection Linux and key authentication

Download Xshell,

Open Xshell, fill in the IP address and custom name of the Linux, then OK, enter the user name password.

3. Change settings, set mouse right click to paste.

Click on the tool---option and set the right button.

Tool--Create a new user key, and then set the key password.

5. Copy the public key

6. then go to create a directory and key file on Linux.

[Email protected] ~]# chmod 700/root/.ssh

[Email protected] ~]# Vi/root/.ssh/authorized_keys

7. paste the public key into the Authorized_keys file and save the key locally.

Press the I key to enter edit mode, then paste the generated public key in, click the message can be pasted. (When copying the public key, choose from the back, or you will miss the first letter)

8. Set the key

9. Set the method to the key and fill in the key password.
