Welcome to Ylmf OS. After the release of the Yilin Mufeng open-source operating system, the system received worldwide attention, which greatly encouraged the Yulin Mufeng development team. Based on feedback from users, on the basis of previous versions, we made some adjustments to the system software of this version, further beautifying the operation interface and adding more user-friendly script management. The theme still adopts a similar Windows theme. It is hoped that old Linux users will be more comfortable to use and new users will be easier to get started. We firmly believe that, after everyone's efforts, Linux can do as well as Windows, giving users an extra choice. Ylmf OS 3.0 can be divided into multiple installation methods: traditional CD installation, wubi-hd installation, wubi installation, and USB devices such as USB disks.

The following describes the installation methods in detail.

Traditional CD installation methods

This method is a bit similar to the usual installation of Windows. First, we burn the loaded Ylmf OS into a CD. Click here to view the operating instructions of the recording software and insert the burned CD into the optical drive, set the boot sequence of the computer to enable the CD. The following figure is displayed when the computer is started:

When the OS boot screen appears, any keyboard operation will appear, as shown in:

At this time, we use the keyboard's up and down keys to select the language interface shown in, the selected language is dark gray, not selected language is light gray. Here we take the installation of the simplified Chinese operating system as an example, so select "Chinese (simplified)". At this time, the computer screen is shown in:

There are two parts, five options in the middle of the screen, and six options at the bottom of the screen. Next we will introduce these options in sequence.

1) Try Ylmf_ OS without installing (T). This is what we usually call the Livecd mode. Livecd is an experience mode. after entering the system, you can preview the entire OS, and most functions can be used normally. Of course, there will also be an OS installation interface after entering Livecd, so that you do not have to exit the Livecd mode, you can continue the installation process.

2) The Ylmf_ OS (I) Installation option is to directly install the Ylmf OS without the Livecd experience mode. Instead, it directly enters the system installation interface.

3) check whether the disk is faulty (C) This item is used to verify the burning quality of the disk and check whether some files are damaged during the burning process. Generally, if this check succeeds, it indicates that the disk is exactly the same as the downloaded disk. If the file is not damaged, you can continue the installation.

4) Check the memory (M) memory detection program and check whether the memory is working normally.

5) boot from the first hard disk (B) if the user does not want to install the operating system on the CD, and does not want to run any of the above options, but wants to boot the computer from the hard disk, select this option to boot the computer from the default hard disk.

6) Other Options:

F1 help. This option provides some simple help information for installation.

F2 language. If the language of the installation interface is not selected on the Interface displayed in 2, you can press F2 to re-select

F3 keyboard layout select the user's keyboard layout

In F4 mode, some advanced installation options are provided for users with special requirements.

F5 auxiliary function this option helps some users with poor eyesight install the Operating System

F6 other options some setup options such as installation parameters
