How to Create team projects and operate team projects in tfs, tfs team
Create a team project set

Tfs server console \ team project set page. Select the 'create collect' link and follow the Wizard to create a project collection.

Create Team Project

After creating a team project set, you must create a team project.

Go to vs and connect to the tfs server. Then, select 'create team project... 'from the menu below ...'

Then, enter the Team Project name, select Agile as the process template, and select tfs for source code management. Then, a team project can be created after completion.

Delete Team Project

For testing, we often create a team project for testing and delete it from tfs when it is no longer needed. How can we completely delete the Team Project from tfs. There are two methods.However, the first method is not recommended. The second method is recommended.

Method 1:

Go to the tfs server Management Console \ team project set, and select the 'delete' link.

However, this method may not be able to be deleted, and an error is reported when you use the original name to create a team project (the source code management folder name is repeated ). This method is recommended.

The tool provided by Microsoft is installed with vs. The directory is as follows (vs2013): C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0 \ Common7 \ IDE

Usage:

Go to the preceding directory and run the following command:

TFSDeleteProject.exe/force/collection: http: // cooto360: 8080/tfs/SSharing Ubtrip

Note:

Http: // cooto360: 8080/tfs/SSharing, Team Project collection address

Ubtrip: name of the Team Project to be deleted (it should be unique ).
