The First and FirstOrDefault methods of LINQ and the Last and LastOrDefault methods ., Linqfirstordefault

The First and FirstOrDefault methods are the First elements in the returned set. The difference is that if there is no result, the former (First) throws an exception, and the latter (FirstOrDefault) returns the default value.
The Last and LastOrDefault methods are the Last elements in the returned set. The difference is that if there is no result, the former (Last) throws an exception, and the latter (LastOrDefault) returns the default value.
