(3) Hadoop+eclipse environment construction under windows

(1) Environmental description

Hadoop cluster environment I've built and worked on my virtual machines (see the top 2 articles), and now I want to build a hadoop+eclipse development environment under Windows.

(2) InstallationHadoop-eclipse-plugin-1.1.2.jar plug-in

Hadoop-eclipse-plugin-1.1.2.jar This plugin can be compiled by themselves, or directly to the online download. I am downloading the installation directly on the Internet.

Once downloaded, place the Hadoop-eclipse-plugin-1.1.2.jar under the Plugins folder in the Eclipse installation directory. Then restart Eclipse.

Select the Prefernece option under the Window menu to see the Hadoop map/reduce option on the right, indicating that the plug-in installation was successful.

(3) Add Hadoop folder path

The Prime Minister unzipped the downloaded hadoop-1.1.2.tar.gz source package onto a disk.

To launch Eclipse, click on the Window menu bar to select the Prefernece option, click on the Hadoop map/reduce option on the left, and enter the Hadoop-1.1.2.tar.gz folder location in the right input box .

(4) Configuring Hadoop links

Select the other option under the Show View option under the Window menu bar and select the map/reduce locations option in the box that pops up.

This is what you'll see in Eclipse. Map/reduce Locations Options:

Right-click to select New Hadoop Locations.

Host is the address of your master host, port is the port number, and user name is your login.

After clicking Finish, you will be connected to your Hadoop.

This is when you can upload or download files to Hadoop.

If uploading or downloading fails, take a look at the following article. I solved this by adding Java_home=d:\program files\java\jdk1.7.0_51 this system variable.
