A note from Data Guard Broker recently used A Broker to configure and manage Data Guard (Oracle version: 10.2.0.1.0). Earlier databases basically did not set db_domain. When database link is used, global_names = true is enabled, and db_domain is also set. Therefore, the Broker can be successfully used to configure and manage Data Guard settings. Now, no, I cannot, when switchover is used as a broker, the instances of the master and slave databases are not automatically started and need to be started manually.
