Add eclipse diagrams to the desktop on the Linux operating system so that each time you run the Eclipse program it is easy to start

Enter the Vim/usr/share/applications/eclipse.desktop command in the terminal and if the Eclipse.desktop file does not exist, it will be created automatically

You can also edit it in a text editor and replace the VIM command with the gedit command to open the file in a text editor

When the file opens, enter the following code in the file:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=utf-8
Name=eclipse
Comment=eclipse IDE
Exec=/opt/eclipse/eclipse
icon=/opt/eclipse/icon.xpm
Terminal=false
Startupnotify=true
Type=application
Categories=application;development;

Because my eclipse is in the/opt/eclipse.

This creates an icon, but is not yet added to the desktop

Choose Applications--Programming->eclipse right-click to add to desktop shortcuts

If the configuration succeeds in programming you can see Eclipse, no configuration is successful without this option
