This article describes how to add the myeclipse plug-in to eclipse. Eclipse is a powerful Java IDE, and it is free of charge. The commonly used J2EE plug-in is myeclipse, and the current myeclipse plug-in is charged. This document uses eclipse3.4.2 and myeclipse7.0.
As we all know, eclipse is a very powerful Java IDE, and it is free (this is important). For Web developers, we need to add J2EE plug-ins to eclipse. what we commonly use is myeclipse, currently, myeclipse plug-ins are charged. all I need to do now is add the myeclipse plug-in eclipse.
1. First, download the software (this is strict with eclipse and myeclipse versions. I use eclipse3.4.2 and myeclipse7.0 ):
Download myeclipse7.0: http://downloads.myeclipseide.com/downloads/products/eworkbench/7.0M1/MyEclipse_7.0M1_E3.4.0_Installer.exe
Download eclipse3.4.2: http://www.eclipse.org/
2. Install myeclipse under D: \ myeclipse.
Decompress eclipse to D: \ eclipse
3. Find D: \ myeclipse \ eclipse \ plugins and put all the jar files under it under D: \ eclipse \ dropins.
4. Uninstall myeclipse (if you have other use cases in myeclipse, you can not uninstall it)
5. Start eclipse3.4.2 and you will see the interface similar to myeclipse, but it is indeed installed with the myeclipse plug-in eclipse.
After the plug-in is loaded, eclipse develops web programs and uses myeclipse.
Note:
The dropins directory in eclipse stores the plug-ins we have added. myeclipse7.0 comes with many other plug-ins, such as swing and report.
If you want to manually add other INS, you only need to copy the Plugins directory of the plug-in to the dropins directory of Eclipse.
Eclipse automatically installs other plug-ins:
Help -- software updates -- available software tab --- add site (enter the plug-in website, select it and check it online) ---- install
Plug-in URL:
Aptana: http://update.aptana.com/install/studio/3.2/
Abator: http://ibatis.apache.org/tools/abator
SVN: http://subclipse.tigris.org/update
