Allow the Asp.net program to access the network folder using the unc path

Problem Found: During the Vs2010 test, the network folder can be normally accessed, \ 192.168.2.249 \ d $ \ IndexRoot

However, it cannot be accessed when it is configured on IIS, because asp.net development server has the highest permissions and can perform authentication by using the unc username and password stored on the local machine. Therefore, there is a breakthrough to solve this problem, as shown below:

Steps:

1. Create the same username and password for the two machines (the password must be the same after testing). Here we will use the default administrator account for demonstration;

2. On machine B, add the administrator account to the IIS_WPG group. This group is used to start the w3wp process. Then, in the application pool, set the ID to the administrator account, in this way, the IIS application can access machine A through the administrator account;
