Android Log Tag meaning, androidlogtag meaning

One of the most important methods to analyze Android problems is to analyze logs in events. there are many system logs in the log, some of which are not very familiar with the meaning. The following is the system log tag obtained from the android source code.

The Tag description is as follows: "30005 am_create_activity (User | 1 | 5), (Token | 1 | 5), (Task ID | 1 | 5 ), (Component Name | 3), (Action | 3), (MIME Type | 3), (URI | 3), (Flags | 1 | 5) "for example,

Where:

  • 30005: equivalent to the index or identifier of the am_create_activity tag. It cannot appear in events.txt.
  • Am_create_activity: TAG Name
  • The information in the log is equivalent to the information in (). For example, (User | 1 | 5), the User indicates the information name, and the User indicates the UID, 1 indicates the Data Type of the information in the printed log, and 5 indicates the unit of the data.

Data types include:

  • 1: int
  • 2: long
  • 3: string
  • 4: list
  • 5: float

Data Units:

  • 1: Number of objects
  • 2: Number of bytes
  • 3: Number of milliseconds
  • 4: Number of allocations
  • 5: Id
  • 6: Percent

Therefore (User | 1 | 5) indicates that this information indicates the User. in Linux, this information is equivalent to UID, and the Data Type of the information is 1, that is, int, the unit of data is 5, that is, Id. Others are similar.

An actual log is as follows:

17:53:38 from 10 to 31. 288 1232 2211 I am_create_activity: [127, cn. company. photoeditor/com. android. gallery3d. filtershow. filterShowActivity, android. intent. action. EDIT, image/*, content: // media/external/images/media/4427,1], meaning:

  • This is a log that indicates activity creation.
  • The UID of the program is 0.
  • The TOKEN of the activity to be created is 208381599.
  • The Task ID of this action is 127.
  • The activity component to be created is cn. company. photoeditor/com. android. gallery3d. filtershow. FilterShowActivity.
  • The action in the created activity message is android. intent. action. EDIT, mime type is image/*, URI is content: // media/external/images/media/4427, and flag is 1

The tag definition file in the source code is as follows:
