Recently, encountered an HP business machine after the replacement of the hard drive, the boot will not enter the system and install the operating system, and after the self-test prompt:

Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.

Solution:

Boot into BIOS setup (press CTRL+F1 or del), select Power Management setup, select WDRT Support carriage return, press the up and down keys to change the parameter value to disable
