The bus in microcomputer usually has internal bus, system bus and external bus.

The internal bus is the bus between the peripheral chip and the processor in the microcomputer, which is used for interconnection at the chip level.

The system bus is the bus between the plug-in board and the system board of the microcomputer, which is used for the interconnection of the plug-in board;

The external bus is the bus between the microcomputer and the external device, and the microcomputer is used as a device to exchange information and data with other devices, which is applied to the interconnection of the equipment.

Computer communication methods can be divided into parallel communication and serial communication, the corresponding communication bus is called parallel bus and serial bus.

The parallel communication is fast and real-time, but it is not suitable for miniaturization because it occupies more mouth line, but it is simpler, more convenient and more flexible in the micro-processing circuit which is not very large in data communication throughput, although the serial communication speed is low.
