Cobbler implementation of automated batch installation Linux system series one: Installation Prerequisite Component Chapter

   随着经历的企业越来越多，服务器规划、实施及运维工作也越来越多，有时会发现，其实做为一名IT人，我们总是有些局限，尤其是在对企业IT结构规划时，由于只局限于对一种分支产品的特性了解，当所熟悉的产品不能胜任现有平台时，我们总会感觉有一些无奈，比如微软的MDT、WDS及SCCM，实话说挺不错的，但至少也只是在微软平台操作系统的部署上，当我们遇到在业务网运维平台中以Linux为主的环境时，大批量部署Linux，这时对于微软的这些部署产品可能就不能像在微软产品范围中那样如龙得水般了，这时我们也就真正理解了，我们同样需要一个适用于Linux平台大批量部署的产品来完成这项工作，而我个人也觉得一个好的平台及结构规划，并不是对哪个分支产品了解就用哪个，而是能把各种产品以一种最优的组合搭配来高效完成业务及办公需求，这也许才是一个更为合格的产品规划，如果遇到任何IT场景，我们只会说我擅长微软的产品，那么全部微软，或说我擅长Linx产品，那么好我全部采用Linux，这种想法可能是一种非常偏激的做法，所以根据企业现状与企业未来发展规划出来架构必定是将各分支产品合理应用在其适合的位置，那么才是一个更加完整的架构，这种架构也才会更加适应企业的IT未来发展。

   在今天的内容中，我主要想要介绍的是关于如何通过Cobbler实现自动化批量安装Linux，以实现企业业务网运维时遇到大批量Linux时如何节省时间及人工时长。

【安装Cobbler对应Yum源】

下载安装后查看Yum源是否生存：

Note: Perform the Yum makecache times Error:cannot retrieve Metalink for Repository:epel. Please verify its path and try again problem, the workaround is as follows:

"Troubleshooting Ideas"

By the error shown, it can be seen that the corresponding Epel source path has a problem, then check the corresponding statement, after the inspection found that the path information is written in reverse, as shown in:

Modify the Epel path information in the Yum source file as shown below:

Based on the prompts shown, the above 7 conditions are not met and the workaround will be introduced in the subsequent series to resolve the conditions that are not met.
